The desk and chair that you are adopting will be a place for a child to learn and receive a Christian education. The child that sits in your seat has a family, but their family is unable to pay for education. That is where you, the "Padrinho"(Godfather) come in to help give them an education.
On your own personal website you are able to keep in contact with the child that is sitting in your place. You are also welcome to send a birthday or Christmas gift to this child.
Once your child has completed the education program a new child will be able to sit in your desk.
For just $10 a month you will help cover the costs of a desk, salaries of teachers, supervision, and training by the coordinators. Other costs are covered through general donations.
