A new event hall for the Sítio CA

The PEDE children in São Paulo live and grow up in an overwhelmingly crowded city with very little room to play and enjoy nature. Therefore we have decided to adjust the original Salão de Eventos (Events Hall) to accommodate for this need. For more information, click on the above picture.

Helping a Church in Need

Through our partnering foundation, ‘Together’ which works out of Belo Horizone, we have received an urgent request to support the young and growing church in Cuba. The ‘Mother Teresa of Cuba’, Dona Dulce, has inspired a number of homechurches to start functioning according to what the book of Acts describes the early church as.

To find out more about our involvement in the Cuban housechurches, please visit the ‘CA in Cuba’ page or read the newsletter covering this. To be more involved with this growing church community in need of support & encouragement, find out more by clicking the picture above this article.

World Cup 2014

The World Cup is almost over and the Dutch Team has performed exceptionally well. After the 7-1 defeat of Brazil against Germany, the Dutch have even been title favorites for a short while. Now we’re awaiting our final match between the Dutch and Brazil.
Despite the excitement and a few hours of TV for the people in the favella’s (slums), the WC 2014 hasn’t benefited them in any way. The projects of Children Asking has send this message through a number of radio- and tv broadcasts asking for more attention to these people. To revisit those broadcasts, click on the picture above.
